Cole Riel
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Cole Riel is the Development Director at the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute. Prior to NHFPI, Cole served as Director of Small Business & Community Development at the Greater Manchester Chamber, where he managed the Leadership Greater Manchester program and large, city-wide events with over 30,000 attendees. Cole has also served as a Campaign Manager and Community Outreach Coordinator, in roles focused on organizing, relationship-building, program management, and effective stakeholder engagement. A dedicated civic servant, Cole was the Chair of the Goffstown Budget Committee from 2019-2021 and served as a New Hampshire State Representative from 2018-2020. He received recognition for his commitment to community service in the Union Leaders 40 Under 40 Class of 2023. Cole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the University of New Hampshire. Cole lives in Manchester and enjoys exploring the history, arts, and culinary creativity of the Queen City and the Granite State.
