Median household income in New Hampshire during 2022 was about the same as in 2021 and was estimated to be about $89,992, which is the highest recorded amount. After adjusting for inflation, however, the purchasing power of median households dropped significantly from 2021. About one in four New Hampshire households had annual incomes below $50,000 in 2022, and one in six had below $35,000, based on data collected during that year.
