State Agencies Project Revenue Recovery and Growth in Next Biennium

State agencies updated their revenue projections for the New Hampshire House Ways and Means Committee in late January 2021, providing a range of estimates for State revenue performance during the rest of this fiscal year and in the next State Budget biennium, which begins July 1. Meals and Rentals Tax revenues are expected to recover slowly, and Real Estate Transfer Tax receipts are anticipated to decline in the future. Combined revenue from the Business Profits and Business Enterprise Taxes is projected to increase substantially, with Tobacco Tax and Interest and Dividend Tax revenues also remaining relatively high.
