New Hampshire’s Minimum Wage is the Lowest in New England

The federal minimum wage was last raised to $7.25 per hour for most workers in 2009. Since then, all New England states other than New Hampshire have increased their minimum wages to significantly above the federal minimum. New Hampshire is currently the only state in New England to follow the federal minimum wage, and the only state in the region to have a minimum wage below $11.50 per hour for most workers.
