New Hampshire’s Minimum Wage is More Than $6 Per Hour Lower Than in Any Other New England State

At the beginning of 2024, four New England states, including two of New Hampshire’s neighbors, increased their minimum wages. New Hampshire is currently the only state in New England to follow the federal minimum wage, which was last increased in 2009, and is the only state in the region to have a minimum wage below $13.67 per hour for most workers. New Hampshire’s minimum wage ranges from $6.42 to $8.44 dollars less per hour than each other New England state.
