Ava Hawkes

Director of Advocacy and Media Relations, New Hampshire Medical Society 

Ava serves as the Director of Advocacy for the New Hampshire Medical Society, advocating on behalf of physicians, the medical profession, and the betterment of public health in New Hampshire. Ava has previously served in nonpartisan and partisan capacities for the New Hampshire State Senate since 2018, contributing to her extensive familiarity with the inner workings of the NH Legislature. Ava received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with a minor in security studies, from the University of New Hampshire. She is passionate about health equity and making connections in her local community on the Seacoast (and here in Concord). When not at the State House, you will likely find Ava on or near a beach and encouraging the participation of young folks in democracy in the Granite State.
